Brelin's Third Birthday Party
Brelin turned 3 in April. A few weeks after I took her three-year-old pictures, I had the opportunity to shoot her birthday party. It was at the same park as last year, but the weather wasn't going to cooperate as nicely as before. The sun was out and not too hot, BUT the wind was not good. Even worse than last year. I got their early to help with some set up, as you can see from the banner, it was going to be difficult to keep things on the the tables.
With things as set up as much as we could, the party began. Below you will find a sampling of some great shots I was able to get of Brelin and the festivities. She had a Peppa Pig party, complete with a pinata of Brelin and Peppa!! She was so proud of that =)
One thing that was cracking me up, was that Brelin knew that I was there to follow her and take pictures of her and her friends. So that also meant I was there to fetch her sunglasses and shoes when she needed them. I was laughing as I had to head back to the table to grab her glasses while she played. Brelin was also great at putting her glasses in the water and then getting upset because they were wet!! Too funny.
In all, the party was great and pictures turned out better than I thought the would. One thing I have learned with this event is that somethings just can't be controlled, but you need to be prepared to work through it. I was having an allergy attack the whole time and I didn't have any medication with me. Next time I won't be so unprepared.
